Who we are
MoldOps Studio is a private internal operations workspace used by our team to manage authorized marketplace shop workflows and small-scale community research review for steel mold product lines.
Information we process
Depending on the Etsy OAuth scopes approved by the shop owner, the application may process shop profile data, listing data, listing images and metadata, inventory and variation data, receipt and transaction data, and support contact information. If Reddit API access is enabled, the application may process public subreddit, post, and comment information available through permitted API requests, including public text, titles, timestamps, permalinks, public usernames, scores, and discussion metadata. Reddit access is used for the limited evaluation described on the Reddit API evaluation page, not as a public user-facing service.
How we use information
We use marketplace shop data only to provide internal shop operations features, including catalog review, listing maintenance, inventory readiness, order review, fulfillment context, support lookup, and operational reporting for our authorized shop. We use Reddit API data only for small-scale manual feasibility review and evaluating whether a separate commercial data permission is required before any broader use.
How we do not use information
- We do not ask for or store Etsy usernames or passwords.
- We do not ask external Reddit users to connect accounts or provide Reddit passwords.
- We do not sell, rent, license, transfer, republish, or redistribute marketplace member data or Reddit content as a standalone data product.
- We do not use marketplace member content, shop data, or Reddit content to train, tune, evaluate, or enrich artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not scrape Etsy or Reddit pages or bypass approved API access controls.
- We do not automate Reddit posting, voting, commenting, messaging, spam, or engagement manipulation.
- We do not use the application to divert checkout activity away from Etsy.
Access and retention
Access is limited to team members with an operational need. Data is retained only as long as needed for the authorized shop workflow, permitted research review, legal obligations, security review, or support request. When access is revoked or no longer needed, connected tokens, cached excerpts, notes, and related operational data are deleted or deactivated within a reasonable period.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect application access, OAuth tokens, developer API credentials, cached excerpts, notes, and operational records. If we identify a data incident involving platform data, we will notify the relevant parties as required by applicable law and applicable platform terms.
